Democracy – Gender Equality & Youth Development

Supporting democracy and the equality of men and women is important for the development of democratic concepts and public participation. It also encourage children, youth, adults, the elderly, the disadvantaged, men and women to be equal, helping them understand their rights and duties, which will lead to a more just and happy society.

Democracy promotion has received support over decades from the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, lately emphasizing the ‘Social Market Economy’ concept, combining private sector entrepreneurship with social and environmental considerations.
